Do any of the PyGtk objects define the GC type flag? The GC is fairly good a exposing memory management bugs that otherwise go unnoticed. If you're using glib you can try setting the MALLOC_CHECK_ environment variable to 2. If you've got lots of memory you could also try using electric fence and running your program. Finally, you might try compiling with Py_DEBUG set. > Neil and/or Jim (and/or anyone else willing to look into this problem), I > can give you access to my development machine via ssh if you think that > would help debug the problem. I'd be willing to take a look (the chances of me reproducing it don't look good). A public RSA key is attached.
