I'd like to put the weak references patch into the alpha, but haven't received any feedback on the latest patch. I have some comments from Martin von L=F6wis on the PEP that need to be addressed, and that could change the implementation a bit, but the basic machinery seems to be pretty reasonable and works for me. Does anyone have any objections to it going into the alpha? I'd like to enable more wide-spread testing. Thanks! -Fred --=20 Fred L. Drake, Jr. <fdrake at acm.org> PythonLabs at Digital Creations
