Allow programmers to put __exports__ lists in their modules but don't do anything with them *except* modify dir() to respect that if it exists? That would pretty up dir() output for newbies, almost certainly not break anything, improve the internal documentation of the modules that use __exports__, and still allow us to move in a more restrictive direction at a later time if we so choose.
