I would too :-) I'm at ApacheCon right now, so haven't read the thread in detail, but it seems that people saw my algorithm as a bit too complex. Bah. IMO, it's a pretty straightforward way for the interpreter to get cycles cleaned up. (whether the objects in the cycles are lists/dicts, class instances, or extension types!)
