I've updated the 1.6 page on python.org (http://www.python.org/1.6/) to include the latest schedule for 1.6. I've also included a link to Andrew's "what's new" article. Here's the new schedule in text form: July 1: beta 1; feature freeze. July 14: beta 2, in time for the O'Reilly Open Source Software Convention. August 1: release candidate. August 15: final release. I'm happy with how the patches are coming along today (/F even submitted the SRE patch...). We may actually have a release party Saturday! --Guido van Rossum (home page: http://www.python.org/~guido/)
