FWIW, I like the original Greg Ewing syntax best. Reason: list 
comprehensions are declarative, and his syntax *looks* 
declarative. Procedural syntax inside those [...] is wacko, just 
as 
 d = { ['one'] = 1, ['two'] = 2 } 
would be.

Also, extra punctuation is just noise.
