well, I've been checking in Peter Schneider-Kamp's patches.
but most of the remaining modules are Unix-only, and I'm on
a Win95 box right now.

so if anyone wants to make a stab at the patches in the
100768-100787 range, please go ahead.

(fred, to give you more things to do, I just assigned Rob's
big spelling patch to you, since large parts of it affect the
documentation)
