I seem to recall someone claiming that the behaviour of the -tt flag was
going to be the default in the next 'major' release of Python. Seeing as how
the socket.socket change is back in again, it might be worth looking at this
again ?

Then again, I'm a newbie, it might be a done deal already, one way or the
other ;-P
