Well, I think I got something in between. I was warned before, so I didn't try to write final code, but I managed to prove the concept. But since theere is not much change to the code, but some significant change to the control flow, I found the diff output too confusing. Windiff was always open when I wrote that, to be sure that I didn't trample on things which I didn't want to mess up.
