Wikipedians are particularly welcome. I setup a meetup page here. < https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Consumer_Reports_October… > This is not a regular NYC meetup - it really is just a tour of the labs and a chat on the side of a Consumer Reports open community event. Most people find the laboratories interesting because the organization tests common household products in ways that surprise many people. There are about 150 engineers here doing testing. The tour will cover several labs. If any Wikipedians have cameras I will do my best to get them into more spaces, because while the organization itself is shy about sharing pictures or having its staff share pictures, they are happy to let others take and share pictures. Consumer Reports has sponsored me as their Wikipedian since April 2012. Anyone wishing to learn more about Consumer Reports' interest in Wikipedia could learn more at this event or contact me any time. Thanks for your interest. Write me with any questions or post them on the meetup page. yours, -- Lane Rasberry user:bluerasberry on Wikipedia 206.801.0814 lane(a)bluerasberry.com
