Hi, If this topic has already been discussed somewhere in details please simply tell me. I am not shure that a bug should be reported at this moment since I cannot really determine what goes wrong. First situation : A wordpress installation on an http site served by apache : w3m may access the administration page by filling the log in form with identifier and passwd. emacs-w3m may also but eww cannot remaining stuck on the log in page even after having hit the log in button. Second situation there is an .htaccess file in the wordpress root that requires to be identified by the http engine with a log in and a passwd. This step is accomplished by w3m emacs-w3m and eww. But whenn accessing the log in wordpress page only w3m is able to complete the task. emacs-w3m request is rejected by an obscure question of cookies even if the configuration is exactly the same as that that worked in first situation (without .htaccess.) eww behave as in first situation. OK you might tell me that at this point emacs-w3m provides better results than eww so try to make it work in every situation. Yes but you probably know that this is difficult to obtain help on -emacs-w3m and I am not shure that the project is still really alive. More over eww appears to me to be a really intersting tool and I suspect that I will not be the only one that wish to manage his wordpress blog with eww ... Finally I just have to say that I particularly appreciate these emacs integrated text tools since I am blind and can have a speech work environment with these tools.
