FWIW, the reasoning behind accepting a package which requires an
Exchange server, is that the Exchange server runs on another machine
over which you have no control anyway, so whether it runs Free software
or proprietary software does not make any difference to you.

In other words, the concern w.r.t Free Software is whether the software
*you* run is Free.

I don't fully agree with the distinction, FWIW.
