Sorry, I just found the idea that I was proposing to teach advanced
Elisp in docstrings both an exaggeration and oddly familiar.  Because it
really speaks to how I learned Elisp with Emacs's excellent docstrings.

This is why I wrote "funny": as in "curious", not as in "ridiculous".

But, pragmatically, I mean only this:

* A reference to eglot-alternatives in eglot-server-programs, just like
  the one I proposed.

* A good docstring for eglot-alternatives.  I think the current one is
  fine (but suggestion are welcome).

* An additional simple eglot-alternatives example in the Eglot manual.

I've done pushed these ideas to master.
