Untersuchungen am Karyotypus von Chironomus thummi

1. 1.

   Besondere Merkmale der Speicheldrüsen-Chromosomen vonChironomus thummi thummi werden anhand der vorgelegten Chromosomenkarten beschrieben.

2. 2.

   In den Speicheldrüsen-Chromosomen der Freilandpopulationen vonCh. th. thummi sind Inversionen sehr selten, dagegen treten häufig unilokale Strukturmutationen (Scheibenverdickungen und Kapselbildungen) auf.

3. 3.

   Die auf unilokalen Strukturmutationen (Differenzen in Scheibendicke und -färbung, Kapselbildungen) beruhenden Unterschiede an den Speicheldrüsen-Chromosomen der SubspeziesCh. th. thummi undCh. th. piger werden dargestellt. Für das Vorkommen kleiner Inversionen im Rahmen der Unterart-Differenzierung fehlt jeder Hinweis.
