The ARM repeat domain is required for OsPUB15 to be phosphorylated by PID2K. In vitro phosphorylation analysis of OsPUB15 (A), OsPUB15N (B), OsPUB15C-1 (C) or OsPUB15C-2 (D) by the kinase domain of PID2. The purified His fusion proteins were incubated with purified GST-PID2K in the presence of [γ-32P] ATP. GST-PID2K was used as a positive control. Samples were separated with SDS-PAGE followed by Coommassie Brilliant Blue staining (CBB staining) and Autoradiography (Autorad), respectively. Similar results were obtained from three independent experiments.
