Book summaryPublished in May 2023, in a moment of peak Artificial Intelligence (AI), Daron Acemoglu and Simon Johnson debunk modern techno-optimism. DARON ACEMOGLU is Institute Professor of Economics at MIT. For the last twenty-five years, he has been researching the historical origins of prosperity, poverty, and the effects of new technologies on economic growth, employment, and inequality.
