Pocket lets you export your saved items so you can download a backup or view them in other formats. Exported data is sent to the email address connected to your Pocket or Mozilla account. Before exporting, make sure your account email is up to date.
Check your account emailMake sure your Pocket or Mozilla account uses a valid, active email address before initiating an export. Your data export will be sent there.
Note: If your email is incorrect or inaccessible, update it before requesting your export.

Common Questions What happens when I export my saves?You will be emailed a link to download an export HTML file of your saved links. Check your inbox for this link; it may take more than 24 hours for larger accounts. In some cases, it can take up to 7 days to receive the export email.
How long is the export link active?The link is active for 48 hours. If you aren’t able to get to it prior to the expiration, you can request a new one by following the steps shown above.
What is contained in the export file?Your export file will include links (URLs) of your saved items. The export does not extract the text of saved links. Additionally, the export does not contain tags or highlights.
Can I export only a select number of items?This export tool will provide you with an HTML file of all your saves, archives, and favorites. It's not possible to export only a set or select number of items, but you'll find them all in your export file.
I did not receive an export file to my email inbox after 7 days. What should I do?Please copy the export ID from your request and email Pocket Support for assistance. This ID can be found in the confirmation email you received.
