Use VS Code in Interviews

Use VS Code in Interviews Toggle to the VS Code IDE and make use of the terminal, packages, themes, and more.

In addition to our default code editor, whiteboard, and spreadsheet, you can now toggle to a VS Code editor (beta) during Interviews.

While VS Code editor (beta) does not currently include the ability to import custom questions, it is recommended to use for the following use cases:

Save Github repos as an interview question

You can save GitHub repos as interview questions that will automatically load in the VS Code editor (beta).

First, navigate to Customization and then Interview templates.

Then, click New interview question and add your GitHub repository.

To load a saved question into the VS Code editor (beta) click load question in the top left corner while the interview is open.
