The Anti-Aging Research List Anti-Aging-Research@groups.io

This List is devoted to discussion of evolutionary medicine, anti-aging research, inflammatory disorders, and related topics, including health issues tied to climate change, global pollution, viral spillover diseases and pandemics, and similar problems. It is hosted by the Systems Biology Group, Inc. (SBG), which is headquartered in Palo Alto, California.

Beyond its work in pure research, SBG

provides reliable up-to-date information to its private and corporate clients on advanced anti-aging research and the prevention and treatment of major inflammatory diseases, ranging from ulcerative colitis to Alzheimer's disease. To enquire about its consulting services, you can email SBG's Chief Science Officer here

To enroll on this List, just send an email to Anti-Aging-Research+subscribe@groups.io. No subject line or text needs to be added. In a minute or two you'll receive an auto-response from the List server. Confirm by email that you want to enroll and you're all set! Unsubscribing is just as simple via links on every post.

On therapeutic topics, the List especially invites discussion of recent studies in evolutionary biology, ancient DNA research, and related fields that suggest testable ways to maximize human health and slow biological aging from infancy to extreme old age. Posts on new studies of Covid-19 pertinent to anti-aging issues are also welcome.

The List is open to the general public as well as to medical researchers and other health professionals. It is moderated to help ensure the quality of posts and to keep List discussions on topic.

Posts can be read by everyone, not just List Members. But the many specialized research papers uploaded to our List Files and inline graphics can only be viewed by Members, so it is well worth it to formally join the List. Members by default remain totally anonymous unless they choose to post, and email addresses aren't ever shared with anyone.

To respond to a List message, simply reply to it and it will be sent directly to the Moderator's window. To start new discussions or to ask List questions, simply send an email to Anti-Aging-Research@groups.io

One of our few List rules is that we don't permit anonymous discussions, so please sign all posts and identify yourself clearly when you post!

We expect all scientific claims made on the List to be supported by credible scientific evidence, not data drawn from popular news stories, health blogs, or commercial websites. When it comes to medical and nutritional topics, no less than those involving geopolitical issues, we are painfully aware of the fact that we are in the midst of a global misinformation no less than an information revolution.
