Empty values are ignored when transferring content · Issue #1 · umbraco/Umbraco.Deploy.Issues · GitHub

Whenever you transfer or restore content, any value containing empty/null is not applied to the destination.

• Set up a site on Cloud with a doctype with 2 textstring properties.
• Create a document on source.
• Set values for textstring1 and textstring2 and transfer to the next environment - confirm that the values are transferred.
• Change textstring1 to another value on source.
• Change textstring2 to an empty value on source.
• Transfer the document to the next environment.
• See that textstring1 was updated to the new value but textstring2 has not been updated to a blank value on destination (it is still the initial value set).

Empty values are not overwriting existing values when transferred by Deploy.
