Can you add an issue for the dials package that enumerates anything that should be tunable in these steps (e.g. num_terms in step_texthash)?
We can make parameter objects out of them to enable some automated parameter grids down the road a bit. Some of theme (like num_terms) will already be there so no work is required for those.
