Welcome to the stripe-ruby wiki!
Migration guides for newer major versionsEvery time there is a breaking change in the Stripe API, they are shipped under a new API version. From version 9 onwards, the stripe-ruby SDK will use the Stripe API version that is latest at the time of the SDK release. Therefore we will release a new major version of the stripe-ruby SDK every time a new API version is released.
Below is a list of major versions of the stripe-ruby SDK (from Aug 2023 onwards) and the API version they map to along with the changelog you should carefully read while upgrading. We may link to the migration guide instead of the changelog if it is more readable or the changes are more extensive and need more guidance to follow through.
Below are the changelog/migration guides for previous major versions of the stripe-ruby SDK where your default API version would be used unless you passed a specific API version yourself.
