Hi 🙂,
When you try to encode an x265 file that has DV metadata, if you set the chunks to a number higher than 1, Staxrip will ignore the value whatsoever and force the encode to use only 1 chunk.
Well that's not the problem. The error occurs when Staxrip tries to mux the final MKV file. It will try to mux *_out_chunk1.hevc file but it's not there. There's only a normal *_out.hevc file. And it throws an error. "Encoder output file is missing"
I opened the .srip file and changed the chunks to 1. Hoping a re-encoding wouldn't happen. But I was wrong. There was an option in the older versions of Staxrip "Re-ecnode/Re-use" that was useful in times like this, but I think it's not around anymore.
So, that's the whole problem
Thank you for your time 🙂
