Creating this issue to gauge interest in a desktop application using Electron. Please "thumbs up" this issue if this is something you would use over the site.
Additionally, if you think there is a compelling reason (beyond personal preference) to add a desktop application, please leave a comment explaining why. My current belief is that desire for a desktop application is primarily a matter of subjective preference, however this could be a higher priority if there was some use-case that could be served significantly better with a desktop application compared to web app.
