Different 'C-x' for shortcut, 'C-m c' not toCodeCell anymore · Issue #1263 · ipython/ipython · GitHub

I've taken the habbits of using C-m c, C-m m to toggle between code and / markdown cell. Having copy and paste is great, but I can't get used to the 'new' C-m y. As C-m c has already been shiped with 0.12 I think changing it now will confuse users. Wouldn't it make more sens to have a different prefix depending on the type of operation ? like Alt-c fore everything cell wide Alt-n for all notebook wide effect , ... And keep the 'current' shortcut as they where ?
