Home / Update / Client Code
N.B. Before doing any update, it is recommended that you take a full backup of your database.
Updating the Database is very straight forward. The process is fully automated by running only one PowerShell script.
Log into your Database Server.N.B. You must run Windows Powershell as Administrator.
Open the/db/update.ps1
script in Windows PowerShell and execute it.
Follow the instructions on screen and provide the required information when prompted. This will run all the cumulative scripts from your current version up to the latest one, in order to synch the Data Model
, Users
, Types
, Views
, Stored Procedures
, Jobs
and Data
.
If any issues arise, just roll-back the environment using your backup and log an Issue describing the problem.
