Re: this diff, while I appreciate the strike, I don't see why you shouldn't remove the comment altogether? I'm not sure what you think this accusation of bad faith against me is adding to the discussion. Samuelshraga (talk) 20:49, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to keep it originally because Tamzin responded to it and thus that made it important for context to what they were replying to. Generally if someone has already replied to something you said, you shouldn't delete what you said hardstop, you should strike it so as to preserve the chain of events for readers catching up in the name of transparency. But if you want it removed despite that, say the word. Snokalok (talk) 20:53, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Tamzin responded to this line, struck separately, about "rhetorical dishonesty" and I think you should leave that stricken. I think that doesn't apply to the line you struck in the diff I linked to in my post above. Samuelshraga (talk) 21:04, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to strike that one as well because it flowed from the rhetorical dishonesty bit. I struck them at different times because I was out at dinner and wanted to get the accidental misrepresentation done immediately before I had to put my phone down, but only once I could pick up my phone again did I strike the other - which I'd originally said largely because prior to seeing Tamzin's diff, I'd never seen rhetorical dishonesty brought to admin as an issue and the case you presented did, in that context, read as grasping at straws (it still honestly reads as grasping at straws, just of less decipherable intent, it is a remarkably feeble case if we're being honest). Anyway, since you have repeated the request as requested, I shall strike it. Snokalok (talk) 21:11, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You are involved in a recently filed request for arbitration. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case#Transgender health care misinformation on Wikipedia and, if you wish to do so, enter your statement and any other material you wish to submit to the Arbitration Committee. As threaded discussion is not permitted on most arbitration pages, please ensure that you make all comments in your own section only. Additionally, the guide to arbitration and the Arbitration Committee's procedures may be of use.
