This template inserts the code ‍–‍, producing a U+2013 – EN DASH (–) with a U+200D ZERO WIDTH JOINER (‍) on each of its sides. This prevents line break at the endash.

This can be used, for example, to prevent line break as in:

Using {{nbnd}} (or its aliases: {{nbndash}},{{Non breaking en dash}}) between the years force to produce:

2020{{nbnd}}2022 → 2020‍–‍2022

1952{{nbndash}}1960 → 1952‍–‍1960
