Genus of algae
Ochromonas is a genus of algae belonging to the family Ochromonadaceae.[1][2]
The genus has cosmopolitan distribution.[3]
Chlorosulfolipids, a class of biologically active compounds, was first discovered in some Ochromonas species.[4]
