227 (two hundred [and] twenty-seven) is the natural number following 226 and preceding 228. It is also a prime number.
227 is a twin prime, and the start of a prime triplet.[1] 227 is a safe prime, a regular prime,[2] a Pillai prime,[3] a Stern prime,[4] and a Ramanujan prime.[5]
