The 2024 Georgia House of Representatives elections were held on November 5, 2024. Voters in each of Georgia's 180 legislative districts elected a state representative to the Georgia House of Representatives. All 180 seats were up for election.[1] Primary elections were held on May 21, 2024.[2]

Eight special elections were held during the 157th Georgia General Assembly.

District 129 (special)[edit]

Representative Henry Howard died on October 13, 2022. After he posthumously won re-election, a special election was held to elect his successor.[4]

District 7 (special)[edit]

Incumbent Republican David Ralston, who was first elected in 2002, resigned on November 4, 2022.[6]

District 119 (special)[edit]

Representative-elect Danny Rampey declined to be seated following his arrest on drug charges in December 2022.[9]

District 172 (special)[edit]

Incumbent Republican Sam Watson resigned from his seat in December 2022 in order to run in the special election for State Senate District 11.[12]

District 75 (special)[edit]

Incumbent Democrat Mike Glanton of District 75 resigned on January 24, 2023, for health reasons.[14]

District 68 (special)[edit]

Representative Tish Naghise died on March 8, 2023.[16]

District 125 (special)[edit]

Representative Barry Fleming resigned on January 9, 2024, to serve as a superior court judge on the Columbia Judicial Circuit.[19]
