This component requires a MeshFilter to be attached to the same GameObject. When the component is active, it renders the Mesh specified in the MeshFilter, including any submeshes. You can disable the MeshRenderer to make the GameObject invisible.
To render deformable meshes, use the SkinnedMeshRenderer component instead.

The following code sample creates 10 randomly-colored renderers at random positions in the scene. To use it, attach it to a GameObject and run the project.

ResetBounds Reset custom world space bounds. ResetLocalBounds Reset custom local space bounds. SetMaterials Assigns the shared materials of this renderer using the list of materials provided. SetPropertyBlock Lets you set or clear per-renderer or per-material parameter overrides. SetSharedMaterials Assigns the shared materials of this renderer using the list of materials provided. Static Methods Method Description Destroy Removes a GameObject, component or asset. DestroyImmediate Destroys the object obj immediately. You are strongly recommended to use Destroy instead. DontDestroyOnLoad Do not destroy the target Object when loading a new Scene. FindAnyObjectByType Retrieves any active loaded object of Type type. Instantiate Clones the object original and returns the clone.
