How to install Azure PowerShellThe Az PowerShell module is a rollup module. Installing the Az PowerShell module downloads the generally available modules and makes their cmdlets available for use.
InstallThe current version of Azure PowerShell is 14.3.0. For information about the latest release, see the release notes.
A supported version of PowerShell version 7 or higher is the recommended version of PowerShell for use with the Az PowerShell module on all platforms including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
The Az PowerShell module is preinstalled in Azure Cloud Shell and in Docker images.
