Caution
Code Access Security (CAS) has been deprecated across all versions of .NET Framework and .NET. Recent versions of .NET do not honor CAS annotations and produce errors if CAS-related APIs are used. Developers should seek alternative means of accomplishing security tasks.
Without ReflectionPermission, code can use reflection to access only the public members of objects. Code with ReflectionPermission and the appropriate ReflectionPermissionFlag flags can access the protected
and private
members of objects.
Certain features of reflection emit, such as emitting debug symbols, require ReflectionPermission with the ReflectionPermissionFlag.ReflectionEmit flag.
For more information, see the ReflectionPermissionFlag enumeration.
Constructors Properties FlagsGets or sets the type of reflection allowed for the current permission.
