JavaScript Form - beforeValidate Select Event

fires before the control value is validated

beforeValidate: (value: string | number) => boolean | void;

• value: string | number - the value to be validated

Return false to cancel the default action of the event; otherwise, true.

form.getItem("select").events.on("beforeValidate", function(value) {
    console.log("beforeValidate", value);
    return true;
});
