Here at Imagination, we’re giving developers, silicon vendors, and OEMs full control over their graphics software stack.
Through our continuously developed Open Source GPU drivers, we enable our partners and the broader open source community to tailor, extend, and maintain their independent software stacks, as needed for their specific use cases.
These high quality GPU drivers are aligned with the open source standards, and we’re regularly upstreaming conformant code to support additional Imagination GPUs and API variants.
Imagination’s high performance native Vulkan driver implementation relies on the Mesa framework’s open source compiler technology.
Conformant Vulkan 1.0 driver for Imagination’s Rogue architecture GPUs is available as part of Mesa 25.3. Upstream driver code for Vulkan 1.2 will undergo Khronos conformance validation in 2026.
Imagination’s AXE-1-16(M) and BXS-4-64 cores are supported with Linux kernel 6.16 and later, with additional GPUs becoming available in later Linux kernel releases.
Binary firmware files for selected Imagination GPUs are available upstream.
