  Since purchasing land and building our data centre in Dublin in 2011, we’ve
increased our long-term commitment to the region.

We placed a mural on one of our Dublin data centre’s louvered walls. These walls allow fresh air to pass freely into the building and efficiently cool the servers inside.

2011

Google announces purchase of land and an existing building in Dublin’s Profile Park for our new data centre.

2012

Google opens our first data centre in Dublin, Ireland.

2014

Google announces the construction of a second data centre in Dublin.

2024

Google announces another new data centre in Dublin.
