1300. T() for array typesSection: 7.6.1.4 [expr.type.conv] Status: dup Submitter: Daniel Krügler Date: 2011-04-18In an expression of the form T(), 7.6.1.4 [expr.type.conv] paragraph 2 requires that T not be an array type. Now that temporary arrays can be created via a braced-init-list (see issue 1232), this restriction should be eliminated.
Rationale (August, 2011):
The implications of array temporaries for the language should be considered by the Evolution Working Group in a comprehensive fashion rather than on a case-by-case basis. See also issues 1307, 1326, and 1525.
Rationale (February, 2014):
This is a duplicate of issue 914.
