Deletes a Cloud SQL instance.

HTTP request

DELETE https://sqladmin.googleapis.com/sql/v1beta4/projects/{project}/instances/{instance}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters Parameters project

string

Project ID of the project that contains the instance to be deleted.

instance

string

Cloud SQL instance ID. This does not include the project ID.

Query parameters Parameters finalBackupDescription

string

Optional. The description of the final backup.

enableFinalBackup

boolean

Flag to opt-in for final backup. By default, it is turned off.

Union parameter expiration.

expiration can be only one of the following:

finalBackupTtlDays

string (int64 format)

Optional. Retention period of the final backup.

finalBackupExpiryTime

string (Timestamp format)

Optional. Final Backup expiration time. Timestamp in UTC of when this resource is considered expired.

Uses RFC 3339, where generated output will always be Z-normalized and uses 0, 3, 6 or 9 fractional digits. Offsets other than "Z" are also accepted. Examples: "2014-10-02T15:01:23Z", "2014-10-02T15:01:23.045123456Z" or "2014-10-02T15:01:23+05:30".

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.
