Bioconductor - updateObject (development version)

This is the development version of updateObject; for the stable release version, see updateObject.

Bioconductor version: Development (3.22)

A set of tools built around updateObject() to work with old serialized S4 instances. The package is primarily useful to package maintainers who want to update the serialized S4 instances included in their package. This is still work-in-progress.

To install this package, start R (version "4.5") and enter:

if (!require("BiocManager", quietly = TRUE))
    install.packages("BiocManager")

# The following initializes usage of Bioc devel
BiocManager::install(version='devel')

BiocManager::install("updateObject")

For older versions of R, please refer to the appropriate Bioconductor release.

To view documentation for the version of this package installed in your system, start R and enter:

browseVignettes("updateObject")
