World Trade Week NYC is a dynamic network of more than 70 organizations across the New York metropolitan region, working together to highlight the vital role of international trade, logistics, and port operations in our regional economy. Through collaboration and shared expertise, the network supports local businesses in expanding their reach through global markets and supports the next generation of professionals.
Hosted by the New York District Export Council, World Trade Week NYC has served for over 20 years as a central hub for international trade programming in the region. As global trade continues to evolve, we are taking this moment to reflect and refine our efforts to stay aligned with the shifting opportunities in our field.

In 2025, we’re presenting a more focused program that puts the spotlight on key contributors and future leaders in trade.
This year, we are shifting from our traditional kick-off event — typically featuring booths, industry panels, and distinguished speakers from across the region and beyond — to an invitation-only streamlined celebration on Wednesday, May 7 from 1-3 pm.
