Abstract
This small Mughal drawing is a portrait of the fifth Mughal emperor, ShÄh JahÄn (d. 1076 AH / 1666 CE). It dates to the mid 11th century AH / 17th CE. The image is surrounded by a border of buff-tinted, gold-sprinkled paper.
