converts its argument to a string in the standard dotted IP address notation a.b.c.d
.
The function ip-address-string
converts its argument to a string in the standard IP address notation. For an IPv4 address (supplied as an integer) this is the a.b.c.d
notation. For IPv6 it is the standard IPv6 address notation (not including scope ID).
