For some tools, submenus under the relevant main menus (for example, the Expression menu on the Editor tool) contain a Trace submenu that allows you to set tracing options for a function, method, macro, or generic function. This is a useful shortcut to the trace
macro, since it gives you some control over tracing in the environment without having to work directly at the Common Lisp prompt.
Below, the current function means the currently selected function, method, macro or generic function, or in the case of the Editor and Listener, the symbol under the cursor.
