KSNInbr (Kuj) F39+23 (June 1995). Albino. Genet.
c nu. Origin: A female nude mouse with good nursing ability and her litter mate obtained during the development of a DDD/1-nu/+ congenic strain, with the nude gene originating from a BALB/c-nu strain (
Sudo and Suzuki, 1987, Sudo et al, 1989). Congenic strains carrying beige (
bg), X-linked immune deficiency (
xid) and both these have also been developed (
Ishigaki et al, 1996).
