Philip Hugh Calderon - The Dreadnought Project
Captain Philip Hugh Calderon, R.N., Retired (5 August, 1893 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Calderon's father was William F. Calderon, artist.
Calderon passed out of Royal Naval College, Dartmouth in April, 1910 ranked 11th of 77 cadets in marks on the Part I examination.[1]
Calderon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 November, 1915.
Post-War
Calderon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 November, 1923.
Calderon was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1927.
World War II
Calderon was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Captain on 5 August, 1943.
