ApTest has extensive experience with developing test suites for middleware, particularly ORBs and other Object Oriented solutions. This includes functional, performance, and interoperability verification testing.

This unique expertise makes ApTest ideally qualified in design and implementation of tests for ORBs and other distributed middleware.

ApTest designed and implemented the VSOrb and VSJOrb test suites for the ORB branding program operated by the OMG and The Open Group. Covering the C, C++, and Java bindings to the ORB Core as well as testing for IIOP conformance, these test suites have provided ApTest with industry-leading technology and expertise for testing object-oriented middleware.

ApTest has developed a number of test tools for verifying the conformance of development tools to object file standards such as ELF and DWARF. Our products such as the PowerPC Embedded ABI Test Suite provide a unique base of sophisticated technology for verifying the formats produced by development tool sets. This technology is available for license or porting to other architectures/standards.
