Support for Internet Explorer ended on June 15, 2022
Internet Explorer 11 has been permanently disabled through a Microsoft Edge update on certain versions of Windows 10. If any site you visit needs Internet Explorer 11, you can reload it with Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge. We recommend you use Microsoft Edge for a faster, more secure and more modern web browsing experience.
Get started with Microsoft Edge
Open Internet Explorer icon and go to Java.com.
Select the Free Java Download button, and then select Agree and Start Free Download. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
On the notification bar, select Run. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Select Install > Close.
If you're having problems installing or using Java, look for answers in the Java Help Center.
Note: For PCs running Windows 8.1, Java will only work in Internet Explorer for the desktop.
