The Oxford band are currently riding high at the top of the UK chart with their fifth album Amnesiac.
Last year, the band were the first British act in three years to get a number one in the US, with their experimental album Kid A.
Amnesiac is considered another experimental offering
Lead singer Thom Yorke promised his latest offering would be more commercial.
Cult
British bands of late have been struggling to make any headway in the unpredictable American market.
But Radiohead have managed to break the duck and have achieved cult status among US music fans.
They were held off the number one spot in the States by US hard rock band Staind, still there after three weeks at the top.
Amnesiac went straight into the number one spot in the UK charts.
The album knocked Shaggy's Hot Spot down to number two.
However, the first single from the album, The Pyramid Song, has dropped out of the top 40 after just two weeks.
