double check on the python I am using , the sys admin has not installed the
whole standard python 1.5.1. cPickle and pickle are oth missing only
marshall .... he told me he did no install any modules that are system
dependent (OS) ?!?!

Is pickle or cPickle systm dependent? if not may be I can just download it
and use it locally??

Uhm what stops you from using Python pickle then (despite the fact
that is horribly slow)?
